Why You Should Consider Counseling With                        Mentally Fit???

When it comes to counseling I have quite an eclectic style in which I use a multitude of therapeutic approaches to help others. I believe in treating from a holistic approach (the whole person). A holistic approach treats the entire person versus focusing on one specific thing. Think of it from this example, if a car's engines parts are dysfunctional, there is no way the carburetor, pistons, and other parts will fire and function efficiently. We want all the parts to function properly right?! Well think of your body, mind, and spirit in that aspect. We want all of our parts functioning at their very best, so that we can live fulfilling lives. As a counselor, my goal is to help enrich my clients' lives by inspiring and motivating them to reach their idea of self-actualization. I want to provide a safe environment in which clients can be open with their emotions & find comfort in healing. My scope of practice stems in using various theoretical techniques & therapies such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Spiritualism. Using these unique techniques & therapies allows me to work with individuals who have been impacted by trauma, substance use disorders, abuse, neglect, difficulties with sexual orientation/gender roles & expectations, familial & marital conflict, interpersonal issues, changes in career, grief, or other life transitions. I believe in promoting self-awareness and happiness to my clients. So, let me help you become a better & healthier you in being Mentally Fit.
